Nature takes time. So do we.
Before sunrise, we harvest prickly pear and spekboom leaves on our farm just outside Vrede. We stir them slowly on the stove for hours to create a rich herbal oil. Beef tallow from grass-fed cattle is carefully purified over several hours. We use pure honey and beeswax from Plaas Kromdraai, along with wild flowers, herbs, and eucalyptus aromas. Every single jar is handmade — exactly how our great-grandparents used to do it.
